Twilight opens her eyes, feeling solid ground under her hooves, eagerly she watches the glowing time vortex disintegrate into nothingness. All she saw was black outside the ring of influence of residual light. She looked behind her, spying a pony’s skeleton. Disgusted and horrified she lifts two hooves. As she did so, she heard twigs snap and muffled gurgling growls. She froze, and stood stock still, finding a good balance point on her two other hooves, she only moves her eyes, trying to spot whoever, whatever, made that sound. Twilight tried to calm down, she focused her thoughts and conjured a light spell so she could see beyond the blackness. Her glow was cast, and out from the darkness came many pairs of glowing red eyes, and very faint but spiky forms. What had she come home to?Pre-princess Twilight because why not? And the wings would’ve made the piece more busy, I kinda wanted to convey tension and anticipation. And I think I did fairly well. Also this could be counted as a really late Halloween Special.This was my end of a trade with the awesome he challenged me to do something amazing and I delivered.
