Everything you said about EQG is right. I hate it with a burning passion and would love to throw it into the deepest pits of hell, because it brand-transformed a perfectly great franchise into something it was never supposed to be.
Where you’ve seen me saying that I don’t want ponies to fall in love is a mystery to me, though.
I would ship Toola Roola and Coconut Cream in a fic right away if I wouldn’t suck so much at writing romance.

It’s CMC Scootaloo’s fault he hates humans because of something as trivial as the title of the franchise and doesn’t want ponies to fall in love (since Lauren Faust doesn’t want romance in the show and yet the fandom dismiss it due to her departure despite the ships not being canon)

No wonder I stopped giving respect to him after his (hypocritical) whining about EG on Equestria Daily.

Am I on a target list

Wut? No, you two’s personal fight in a public image comment section was reported, and I came to stop it. Nothing more, nothing less. Do you think we have time to hound specific users? If you get a mod response often, it means you get reported frequently, and a staff member feels the need to intervene; you might want to reflect on why.

And realize that I warned the both of you, and nothing past the warning happened to you. If you have more to say, please give me a PM: an image comment section is not the place for this.

Do tell me: Am I on a target list? It seems everytime I reply to someone after I was banned that I get a warning. But here this guy has been insulting people for a few posts now and he doesn’t get a warning.

And still you reply instead of ignore. Good blocking system. And if you don’t need it then why did you do it in the first place?

Oh btw still waiting for that proof of me harassing you. Up till now I only have the opposite.

Godwin’s law: “As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler approaches —‌ that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or his deeds.”

Translation: you don’t have anything good to retort anymore so you lower yourself to calling someone a Nazi and therefore you think you’ve won the argument.

Too bad you can’t block a person over here when the argument isn’t going your way.

Ad hominem attack? Oh, please, if I would have wanted to do that, I would have called you a “Nazi Bastard”.
Which would be fitting even, cause that’s exactly the kind of attitude you show off here.
Have fun judging people by their badges, it gives your arguments so much more credibility.

My duck badge has nothing to do with my ability to analyze a situation and that you abuse the existence of a stigmatic symbol (that is merely used by the mods here to denounce users they don’t agree with or that don’t speak in their favor) to strengthen your argument does not change that.
You can’t win an argument by pointing at a stigmatic symbol stitched to someone’s virtual chest and by saying “I don’t take anything you say serious because you’re wearing this!”.
At best, this is bias, at worst, something frighteningly close to nazi ideology.
By doing that, you only proof that you can’t engage in a discussion properly and that you would use any means to win an argument if you don’t wanna admit to be in the wrong with something, including denouncing someone as a second-class person by pointing at a badge that was forced on them.
If you ever seriously tried to convince with what you say, you lost every chance for this now, because you revealed that you didn’t take anything I said serious just because I’m wearing a certain badge.

Okay, I’m not going to continue this argument too much, because your reach is so hard I’m afraid you’ll hurt yourself. But lemme point out this little gem:

those shorts’ productions weren’t even funded by Hasbro anymore, but by the Government of Ireland.

That’s literally not how that works. At all. Source: I have family who work in the US film and broadcast industry, and we do the same thing here.

Governments will give tax breaks and incentives for companies and productions that come to their country/ city, so those companies/ productions will come support the economy of those country/city and supply citizens there with jobs. They do not fully fund projects like that. Incentives only invest some money, Hasbro produced the rest.

All of the productions that went through Boulder Media got these incentives; probably even the productions before Hasbro bought them.

There are about three or four other projects coming out of Boulder Media, including Littlest Pet Shop, Transformers, and Micronauts. By your logic, Hasbro would not care about any of these upcoming projects.

Vancouver has a large film and production industry, I can almost guarantee you Hasbro gets similar incentives by working with DHX.

I really shouldn’t have taken the bait, and given your duck badge I assume you’ll do another round of mental gymnastics to ignore me, but TL;DR: That’s not how film incentives work.

“Exceeded expectations” only means that they sold more than Hasbro thought they would. It does not indicate how much they sold and not what Hasbro’s expectations where. It’s a very vague statement, so for all we know, Hasbro’s expectations could have been very low to begin with.
This is not a proof of the minis selling well.

And for that panel, the peek mentioned there does not necessarily mean there’s another movie. This could just be a bunch of more specials for next summer, or, even just a sneak peek on the remaining shorts and some talks about the two remaining books.
Nothing is indicating another movie so far, not even Ishi Rudell tweeted anything about a new movie, even though he always did so in the past after one movie aired.
And if nothing of a new movie is mentioned at Hascon, then that’s it. And as I already said, those shorts’ productions weren’t even funded by Hasbro anymore, but by the Government of Ireland.
It says a lot if Hasbro doesn’t even want to invest money into producing shorts for EQG anymore and rather lets someone else pay for that.
I wouldn’t hold up my hopes for a new EQG movie or even specials too high if I were you.

Sounds to me like EQG fans fear the death of EQG a lot, so much, that they delude themselves and find comfort in their own convenient lies that they make to themselves in order to not having to admit that the best times (if you can say that with EQG) of the EQG sub-franchise are over and that it’s slowly fading out.

Sounds to me like someone is projecting.

Except the last time the earnings of the EG Minis were mentioned was this time last year, in their second quarter report, and were reported to have “exceeded expectations.”

Quite a bit to invest on a part of the franchise that’s supposedly fading.

I always see people mentioning the “minis”, every time I bring up that the EQG toys don’t sell anymore, but they can never show me any evidence of those minis selling. Except for “I saw how they flew off the shelves where I live”.
While this investor report speaking about the EQG toy sales declining is a fact, you can go look for the EQD news about it.

The December book was probably written a while ago and is finished. The April book is probably still being written, but was ordered and started being written sometime ago, too.
The only reason why these books are getting still released is because they are either already finished and the author paid or because the necessary contracts for their production have been signed and stepping back from these contracts and negotiating all of this would be more of a hassle than simply release the book and milk some last money out of the sub-franchise.
For all we know, these books along with the shorts (that, as some EQG fan pointed out, look like cut scenes from the previous movies, not something newly created) might be the last things coming from EQG.
