Yeah, that book is full of interesting stuff. Like how some of Luna’s early design sketches look remarkably like Cadence - enough that I would put money on Cadence’s design in the show being lifted from them.

Bleh. I got th title wrong - but it’s this book. Around page 78 or so, in a comment about what she felt was the most underestimated villain. She directly compares Trixie to NMM and the idea that jealousy could distort Trixie into a major threat in much the same way it did to NMM.

Amusingly in the ‘Elements of Harmony Reference Guide’ book there is a comment by Faust that she expected Trixie would be one to end up consumed by jealousy over that kind of thing. Essentially the whole NMM thing in a smaller scale.

In my fanfic, it is Celestia that gets originally sent to the Sun (yeah I know, original…)
 
As a result, the Summer Sun Celebration and Nightmare Night are switched. An unexpected side effect of this is that Twilight Sparkle, who originally got sent to Ponyville to oversee celebrations, only gets sent there 6 months later.
