Unicorns are one of the most dangerous fairies to approach, as they are proud warriors and not to be taken lightly. They only allow those they deem trustworthy to approach them, and have grown clever enough to evade traps. Many have tried to capture unicorns, usually for their vitality-rich blood or the mithril-rich content of their horns and bones…and they all have met a gruesome end.
…So it’s quite a surprise that any unicorn at all would establish any kind of alliance with Blitzerph’s royal house. What makes this more unbelievable in the case of Edelweiss is that he’s even more arrogant than most unicorns. Still, he will come to his Blitzerphian allies’ aid if the danger is too great for them alone.
What people don’t understand is that Edelweiss is NOT treated like a pet or a steed. He and Princess Chaperon apparently see eye to eye as honorable warriors - a sentiment that’s shared by all of her top troops. As expected, it takes a while for him to warm up to someone, so they should expect him to shoot death threats until then.

A term to describe the horn-fighting style of unicorns. The horn is good for more than just stabbing - with magic energy, it can act as a sharp blade as well. To make sure every horn-swing is safe, a unicorn must hone their eyesight to look and react in a very brief time.

Edelweiss’s “radiating magic” may look like rainbows and sparkles, but it’s comparable to gamma radiation, able to decay and burn through many things that don’t have enough magical resistance. It can be fired in the form of beams and blasts from the horn, or from the wing-like apparatus on the hooves to propel himself at high speeds. Edelweiss likes making use of the latter for his Rainbow Burst Force, zooming around foes at frightening speeds to strike where they least expect it.
