When something gets done to death by people who couldn’t do in-character or on-model to save the entire human race, that crossover gets instant downvotes regardless. In the case of Sonic, there’s lots of blame to go around (and a lot of us were sick of the comparison by about episode 4 of season 1). In the case of Regular Show, it’s all cartuneslover’s fault.

Just like the FF7 haters before them, the Sonic haters have now lapped themselves: by leaping on every opportunity to complain about the Sonic fandom, they have becomes far more annoying than the fandom they complain about.

Funny you should say that. I uploaded 2 Regular Show crossovers here a while back and they were downvoted pretty harshly. It wasn’t until a few people (me included) told them to get over the fact that’s a crossover, and enjoy the in-character-ness. They both have more upvotes, but it’s still stupid and pathetic.

The art is ‘meh’ but the haterade due to the crossover yeah a bit extreme.
 
I understand the few that are tired of crossover pics here or at least badly photoshopped or tv meme pics, which is mostly why I had switched it up some to traditional handdrawn art (One Piece x MLP).
 
Thought that hits my head though: if the artwork of a crossover (with Transformers, Regular show, sonic, one Piece) is composed visually pleasing giving the characters are in canon or in a humorous situation; would be judged merit and effort or just downvoted automatically due to the stigma of numerous “bad” art or “bad” shipping?

What would this even be? …Hedgified?
