I’d chalk that up to the
shampoo brandanimation team behind these shorts. Some people don’t seem to be convinced about their performance but I think they can handle the incoming series just fine (I’m just assuming they will so don’t quote me on this), and maybe improve from their experiences.FiM always looked good but we’ve seem some serious jumps in quality from DHX as the time went on so who knows what the future can bring?
It’s only a one off then she’s back in her new gear

The capture process probably doesn’t help either.
That, and Boulder seems to use more saturated palletes by default.
Which, to my knowledge, they actually have taken them out of their regular clothes a lot lately.
I don’t see lack of assets it’s great to see Sunset in her old outfit but my only problem is her face is too bright as a lemon
Mostly because while I don’t hate the original EqG designs, I’ve seen they can do better.

Maybe they just want to mix things up. They have SciTwi there, so it’s not like they are lacking assets.
I wonder if the animators are going to redo THIS short with Sunset’s new outfit. XD That would be funny to see them suffer through it. XD
Maybe because they where rushing to release the short wait till she’s back in her new outfit when the next short is out maybe next week
So obviously the animators got confused about Sunset’s outfit.
