I read it as Celestia fearing that her friendship with Twilight was unrequited, and that can range from simply disappointing to heartbreaking.
Am I the only person who finds that comment really, really, really disturbing?
Yeah, it is. It’s one of the reasons I still enjoy watching it. I’ve just noticed more and more of these moments with every season. I’ve been wanting the show to get more intimate and feelsy since the 5th season, and it seems like they’re going that route (especially after seeing the Perfect Pear).
Isn’t that pretty much what the show is based on? Most of the show is friendship and feels. :P
