It’s not new. It’s the same statue. This is a continuity error. Midnight Soarkle blows the statue up into pieces during her invasion of Canterlot High and possibly her potential ruling and destruction of both worlds.
This short was set after Friendship Games because Sci Twi transfer from Crystal Prep to Canterlot High. But the Wondercolts statue was still there. Midnight Sparkle destroyed it at the end of Friendship Games. So it might be an animation or continuity error.
Well… that was animation error. And the can’t be fixed so quickly.

What are you talking about. Midnight Sparkle completely destroyed the statue during her potential invasion and destruction to both Equestria and the human world. Friendship Games was set before the Summertime Shorts.
