Kind of makes sense, for a pony like Rarity who constantly tries to be recognized or stand out above the rest it’s kind of logical that one of her fears would be to be hated. (other would be to be forgotten and I’ve read a fic that deals with that kind of topic, it’s not pretty FYI)
 
Sweetie is just there because it’s one of the (if not the) closest ponies to her.

I think the difference is that there might have been no context for this. Sorta like when you dream about something and you know what’s going on without experiencing it.
 
Or perhaps Sombra might have let the dream begin at certain point so that Sweetie said some things to let her know that she was serious and not just experiencing sibling rage.
