You see, this is why they should hold book debates about each of the stories to discuss about the Mane Six’s life choices instead of just straight up attacking each other recklessly

Here’s a fun theory.
 
That last time we saw Starlight was her saying she’ll /handle/ those Rarity haters.
 
Now in this scene, Starlight sees another hater and /handles/ them by threatening to fling them into space.
 
The next scene we see the Rarity haters, who before just merely having a private conversation about something they don’t like about a book, are now leading a boycott protest outside Rarity’s shop.
 
Did they start the protest because “a friend of Rarity” threatened them with space-flinging violence over having an opinion on the Princess’s book?
 
Starlight would be a great KGB. Another notch for her being the best. <3

Goddess the best part about this is Twi’s face. She’s angry, but then Starlight comes up (from her previous “handling” of haters) and jumps strait to showing just how easily she can launch that guy into space.
 
Twi is just. “Okay… I shouldn’t be okay with this but I certainly dont feel like stopping her…”

Go back to your own dimension and write your OWN life journal if you think you’re better than her!

Yes, because the writers, animators, and voice actress behind that fictional character are just “made up” people, don’t have feelings, and “won’t mind it” when you do it about their character.

This pony represents a certain type of “bad fan” that exists in pretty much all fandoms: the “my fanfics are better than the source material and the writers are shit” type of fan. Here’s an example:

I was waiting for someone to post this scene where Glim-Glam goes all Darth Vader on that guy. I’m so happy.

The problem I had was that there is a difference between saying something about a character you know is fictional and a character you know is real.  
When the fans say something about a pony they know they are talking about a made up character and the character won’t mind it and they are talking about the writing of it or other aspects. Here it just comes off as abuse.

Might not have fully liked this episode, but I loved Glim Glam and Shy in it. Glim Glam for being ready to throw down for a friend and Shy for accurately pointing out social anxiety doesn’t just go away.
