I mean, it does give one an interesting perspective on the rough placement of hinge points for flash animations… I could definitely make out layers, at the very least.
I can’t do cross-eye, it’s literally painful for me to try. Parallel view just works for me with no effort. Try doing what I wrote about on something like a phone screen, it’s about the perfect size for it.
These things kill me. I can’t figure out how to do ’em. (At least now I understand what google cardboard and things like it do.) Cross-eye was a pain to learn, but the results from being able to view those are great.
It’s not cross view. It’s fine if you can do parallel view or own a cardboard or similar. Personally I find parallel view much easier than cross view, just go close and stare into the distance until alignment and then adjust distance to get focus. This is especially nice if you’re near-sighted, since you have an easier time focusing on nearby objects.
