Someone probably saw it laying around and figured it was a prize someone forgot.
The question was:
@Background Pony #723B
If you want to talk about story and storyboard realization suites and/or animation packages, their nomenclature, and trade and sales marks (and other aspects of their brand environments) please create a thread in the forums for it. I for one would enjoy a round-table discussion of why some people insist on calling Maya “Autodesk”, but this image isn’t the place for it.
Most people use toon boom as an abbreviation, almost no one just calls the program “boom”
I honestly have no idea why this is the hill you want to die on, but “Toon Boom Harmony” is called Harmony, not “Toon Boom”. Toon Boom is, at best, the company, or the suite, not the tool, but people call it that anyway because it identifies it as being a separate product, workflow, and set of assets from something like Flash Animate or Flash Professional CS6.
Harmony is the animation component of the complete suite of production and storyboarding software offered by the Toon Boom Animation company, but if you referred to “Harmony” in this conversation most people would have no fucking clue what you were talking about. It would be like talking about “Professional CS6” or “Animate” instead of “Flash”.
All of which has absolutely zero to do with this image.

Edited because: Branding branding branding
Yes, I myself did, but only because I know about the program and that I know that boulder uses toon boom. Someone who doesn’t know about either would not know that and would thus come away with misinformation.
And yet you knew exactly what I was talking about. :/
Boom has never been used as an abbreviation for toon boom harmony. Your analogy makes no sense.
… It’s My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: The Movie, not the MLP Movie.
You see how ridiculous you sound?
The program is called “toon boom harmony”, not just “boom”. Please do your own research.
Compare the animation of the MLP movie trailers (which use Boom) to the animation of the show (which still uses Flash).
Ahem
“Because they’re cartoons animated in a “Boom” program.”
Whatever the hell that is. What is difference between Flash and Boom?
Boom, actually. EQG no longer uses Flash.
Because they’re cartoons animated in a flash program.
