I don’t really consider venus to have a story at all, so she doesn’t need any sort of balance between happiness and sadness. it’s just whatever the commissioner asks for, unrelated to previous pics, unless asked for. honestly I’m kind of impressed that you got people to fall for it so hard. I’d have thought the braces would make her too much of an obvious woobie.

The thing is, Venus does have happy moments, like her times with Mars. And I know there are plenty other ways to make a good character, but this is way I’ve chosen. Personally, I believe she is a better character how she is now rather than how she would be if nothing went wrong in her life.
it’s no more realistic than a character who is never happy and lives a terrible life that is nothing but conflict.
plus there exist relatable conflicts out there other than how to whore yourself on the streets without getting raped by your customers and not even paid.

When I say I think it would be terrible OC, it’s because there is no conflict. Having a character that is happy all the time and lives a great life is not relatable or realistic.
I think it would make for a fine oc. it would also make for a fine oc for her to be a talentless, uneducated whore living in a slum, barely scraping by from day to day. you only have a problem when she’s a talentless, uneducated whore living in a snazzy apartment reading criminal justice textbooks, or a brilliant prosecutor in training living in a slum and barely scraping by from day to day. what makes an oc good is not whether they’re dark and edgy, or serene and shallow, but whether their story makes sense.
that’s why authorial intervention’s so bad, because it doesn’t make sense. terrible ocs happen if you want your fetish something to happen, and you just force it to be true, when it makes sense for something else to be true within the story.
tl;dr make readers expect your fetish to happen, and they’ll think you’re brilliant for drawing it.

No, I think that would make her a terrible OC. Making everything sunshine and rainbows does not make for an interesting character.
You know, sometimes you forget Venus probably has her own things going on outside of the usual “activities”. We don’t get to see her like this often. Nice pic.

Yes, as a group study tutor!
have him holding the book upside down
This is actually just an alternate universe someone wanted. Theres no way normal Venus can afford college.
