Oh yeah. Corsets are part of the fun of burlesque, though I also like burlesque dresses like Pinkie Pie’s dress that’s just really colorful and frilly.

Example here of my BF’s OC and my OC wearing saloon girl dresses without corsets, but with the burlesque style:

I love the puffy sleeves, v-neck bodice (and at least my dress has cups to give a feminine touch to the outfit), fishnets and my bf’s heels really look good. Also love chokers, and I love our feather headwear.

I could go with burlesque with both corsets in the dress and without. Either I’d love. Maybe add the right sleeves and a slit in the skirt, a feather in the hair, and trim it all with lace or frills. ;) I just adore burlesque for being a vintage way of enhancing beauty and sex appeal without really making the wearer look like a bimbo, though in the days burlesque was popular, it probably made women look slutty.
