It’s now time to present my 700th Deviation! And for that, here’s my original artwork of Fluttershy’s Aquarium Project. It was something I had in mind as I was working on my MLP underwater works, and with Fluttershy. And I thought it was a cute idea to show to you all.
 
Fluttershy, sometimes called Watershy by some, was in her cottage feeding her animals. When she got to feeding her goldfish in the fishbowl, Fluttershy wanted to kiss him for being such a cute fish. But she has a hard time doing it since the fish wouldn’t surface for a kiss and kissing the bowl wasn’t satisfying. Just then, she sees a newspaper article of a unicorn who, without magic or scuba gear, spent 10 days underwater without surfacing and manages to do so through lots of practice and skill. After reading it, Fluttershy got an idea. Since she’s so good at being underwater herself, she figured why not try it out, and that way, she can kiss her goldfish, and maybe other fish better.
 
But rather than going to an ocean or lake, she’d decided to do it in an aquarium, at her cottage, where she’ll be safe and where her pony friends can find her. But, in order for this to work, she request the help of her friends to manage her task and she assigns each of them a duty:
 
-Pinkie Pie will be in charge of taking care of the animals, as well as bring different fish into the tank each day.
 
-Applejack will provide her with food and help clean up the tank.
 
-Rarity will make water-proof blankets and pillows for when she sleeps at night.
 
-Twilight Sparkle will be in charge of timing how long she’s in and how many days.
 
-Rainbow Dash will help in fixing the water filter and tank if it’s damaged in any way.
 
And so with a huge tank built inside her cottage, with extra room built in the cottage, and everything is in place, her task, which she calls Watershy’s Aquarium Project, begins. But as the days went by, Fluttershy’s friends are begining to have doubts of whether or not this was a good idea. Yes, they know how much she loves being underwater and is good at staying under for a while, but they don’t know how long she can last, or if they can trust her to do what they were told to do.
 
(Note: If some of you are wondering why the Mane 6 are not in the same size, it’s because I drew each of them separately on paper, as well as an outline for the background, and put them all together. It did take a long while and it is the biggest artwork I made, but I think it paid off.)
