I had no idea you were such a jokester. Good one, man.
Badum tsch.
Some people need structure in their lives.
Chrysalis loyalists probably only buck walls made by Joestar Changelings. They may be fine with walls as long as they are evil. Evil walls. :3
I shouldn’t find that funny XD
PLEASE STAY EVIL
PLEASE STAY EVIL

So you’d believe someone who’s tried to topple you while they’re at your mercy.
You do relize that torture isn’t considered a good method because they’ll tell you what they think you want to hear regardless of if its true? Even the CIA and most other organizations realize it, they just don’t want to put the extra cost into using other methods.
So why would Chrysalis, after she’s all but sat on the Equestrian throne, trust a traitor, a demigod who’s main penchant is deceit and mind games, a random stage performer, and a desperate pony loyal to the crown?
Theres literally no reason to trust them there and then.
After you guarantee they can’t be a threat to you or your forces, then maybe making an attempt might be trust worthy.
And being offered friendship by the one who dethroned you and beat you isn’t something that’d happen easily in the literal seconds after the coup.

Again, Chrysalis rejected positive change for her own kind because she couldn’t stop clinging to power, and she relished the suffering she caused in her invasions to a point that far exceeds nessecity of just trying to live. There’s not one redeemable factor in her entire being.
Fans of her need to stop trying to justify her actions and trying to paint her in a positive light, and embrace the fact that, as it stands currently she’s a ruthless villain who only cares about herself.
As for your hang up on good guys vs bad guys, you do you. I only replied to you because of your footnote about Chrysalis.

So any ruler who willingly fought to expand their lands, has had the entire world against them from birth and likely needs some sort of psychological aid just from what that alone would do to their psyche, and feed their people, deserves to be blasted apart or tortured for eternity, because they made the mistake of defying the one species thats had all of the power in the world handed to them on a silver platter?
And yet everything Celestia does goes under the fandoms radar.
This is why I find myself rooting for villains more and more and not wanting to read any fan works in MLP anymore.
Eventually I’ve just had enough of the self righteous heros crap and self serving attitude.
Lord knows the elements have broken laws, but I guess saving the world makes one innocent regardless of whether the crime even has to do with it in the first place and no matter who has to deal with it.
Can’t argue with that, seeing as I’m someone who’s been rooting for her to go the way of Sombra or Tirek. She’s not a character who can be reformed at this point, and still have it make sense. She’s too power hungry to coexist or to reform, that’s why Thorax replaced her role in the lore as the changeling’s leader, and why we’ll probably only be encountering her in one more major conflict before she’s somehow dealt with permanently.
And they aren’t.
They’ve made it clear they don’t want her character to be reformed and we both know we won’t ever see Equestria actually suffer a loss, which means they aren’t going to bother even trying to tell us were they came from.
And I’ve never liked Disney villains.
Lazy half versions of entities from old folklore or half translated civilizations.

No, because the comics aren’t canon.
I say again, until if or when Friendship is Magic puts some compelling backstory on screen, we’ve no basis to give her any sympathy.
Have you read the comics?
Admittedly she starts off aggresive but being born from a magical tree and Unicorn blood, Starswirl once again starting something and only doing a third of the work to esnure no one else had to deal with the consequences, in a fully fledged body might lead to issues in survival and drive one to ensure it in any way as well as cause a good deal of mental and moral scarring.
Chrysalis sacks a city to feed her people/army since their one in the same, is beaten by Celestia, but instead of a trial, a negotiation or anything remotely fitting the Elements names or even proper diplomacy, her entire species is shoved into an active volcano by force and sealed inside till a dragon breaks them out and tries to eat them at an unspecified date later.
There were no pony guards or other forms of observation. Celestia locked them up and left without a thought.
Lava doesn’t kill kindly like it does in the movies, it’s so dense falling into it is still comparable to solid stone, the heat would bake your lungs before you even hit it and if you somehow survive that you pop and sizzle like bacon as your body fat and fluids vaporize.
Not to mention horribly toxic gasses that can cause multiple types of neurological disorders if by some miracle you manage to not be incinerated.
Their wings would be worthless in the caldera due to thermals, and as their insect wings would burn and shrivel far more easily then a pegasi’s.
Add to this her species getting scorched off the face of the earth without so much as a fair trial and I’m hard pressed to even say Celestia had a stone to stand on.

I agree it’s nice to talk about coexistence, but I really don’t think Chrysalis deserves a sympathy party. She’s a classic Disney villain who enjoyed being a bitch and conquering other creatures, then more than happily denounced a better way of life for her kind that didn’t involve starving all the time as soon as it involved her not being in power.
Until if or when she gets some extremely compelling backstory, she deserves no benefit of the doubt, in my opinion.

True, but we’ve also never seen or even heard of multiple queens, and then theres the issue of unique character designs for focus rather then expansion.
He’s more then likely just different because they didn’t want to or couldn’t use the original Changeling puppets.
This changeling got purple eyes, maybe a different queen
Ah yes, conformity to our social norms is magic.
They could’ve coexisted, Thorax did without changing, and if they gave a reason that wasn’t horribly skewed in their favor the Ponies might actually get a competent group of soldiers out of the deal.
I mean really, at what point have they actually made a fair deal with something instead of kowtowing it to their ways or giving a sentence worse then death and saying out of sight out of mind with the Elements?
Yes, Chrysalis is cruel, but being the only true immortal of a race and constantly having to deal with species viewing your’s as a monster wouldn’t make you anything but cruel and vindictive.
Riiiight, the emotional vampire should coexist with the pacifist

For a show about love and tolerance the good guys get off scott free for everything but not once have we seen or even been alluded to an attempt at peacful resolutions other then someone blurting out in desperation when they’ve all but lost already.
When the person their yelling at has no logical or emotional reason to even believe what they’re saying to start with.
Or they get blasted by the Elements and have some manifestation of pure order tamper with their very soul.
That would be very interesting.
