Well, Capper would never betrayed the Mane Six. He was just trying to sell them while helping them save Equestria from the Storm along. And after he sent the Mane Six away to Mount Aris, he later tricked Tempest and Grubber that they headed East to Black Skull Island instead of Mount Aris because he doesn’t want Twilight to get caught by Tempest and be taken back to Equestria which is now fully conquered, ruled, and destroyed by the Storm Lin and his minions, troops, and/or soldiers.
