Yep. I know. The Storm King then died when he fell to his death and was smashed into pieces, Twilight uses the Staff of Sacanas to restore the magic back the princesses and herself and the r st of Equestria, de-petrified the obsidian victims, save all the inhabitants from the Storm King’s wrath, and repair and restore all the damage, destruction, and the chaos that the Storm King and his army and armada have caused back to normal again, and the Friendship Festival resumes. And I think the rest of Storm King’s minions were either arrested to Tartarus and/or executed by the Equestrians and/or run away in terror back to the Storm King’s Realm, and those with colorful streaks in their hair(16-17 of them) were reformed and joined the Friendship Festival temporarily.

I only just noticed now that Tempest Shadow and Twilight Sparkle have the same initials.

So Grubber and Tempest walk off into the sunset? I guess that’s one way to keep them out of the show.

He tries using one of those orbs Tempest used in the trailer, which is how she turns the princesses to stone. Tempest jumps in the way and they’re both petrified. But they’re also on a high balcony, so they fall over. Twilight catches Tempest and changes her back, but the Storm King…

Between all the books we have, we know that TS wanders outside Equestria, just bitter as her friends ditched her as soon as her horn was broken, and looking to find a way for her horn to be fixed. SK finds her, sees that she’s otherwise a physical bad-ass, and uses her strengths to take over Equestria with the “promise” that with all that magic he can fix her horn. Which likely turns out to be a flat out lie - SK just wants magical artifacts for himself. TS sees this, and how the Mane 6 work together, and quickly switches sides.

What really intrigues me about the movie is how the conflict resolution can go either way, like how the Storm King will be defeated. We do know Tempest and Grubber will survive.

So it looks like those two will turn good guys at the end and will go somewhere together as friends
 
So it’s Storm King who is the ACTUAL villain in the movie
