Daring Do has always been the type for baffling decisions, so why wouldn’t her human counterpart go traipsing through the rainforest in a miniskirt? Sure, it’d get snagged on more things say pants or shorts, and then there’s those modesty concerns when swinging on vines, performing daring feats of acrobatics, etc. However, in addition to the obvious effect the garment’s allure can have, potentially distracting her foes and charming others, Daring could also make the “Tifa Lockhart” argument for the skirt, which is the argument that wearing a miniskirt is a combat choice, as it allows for more freedom of movement. That was the reasoning given when designers at SquareEnix were asked roughly the same question as to why Tifa was a martial artist but wore a miniskirt (Tifa’s other potential design had her wearing leather pants). And if that is such the case, it would most likely mean Daring would not be too worried with who got an occasional accidental upskirt during her adventure as long as it led to her saving a piece of history.
