There are a lot of fish with Dragon in the name and most of them have spikes.
if they wanted to go with actual spikes on a fish, he’d be a lionfish.
There is a “dragonfish”, but those are nightmare incarnate.
But what about a dragon eel?
Wow, pretty, and has spikes on it’s face, but possibly still too spooky. But perhaps if we made it nicer…
Well… hmmmmmmmmm…
Maybe it’s ’cause Leafy Sea Dragons are too freaky looking.
Granted PufferSpike has spikes, which kinda puns his name too.
But it’s not right to make spike a Seadragon and roll with that pun?
Because its more ironic to make him an angelfish.
