Am I the only one disappointed there’s little or no Rule 63 of Pharynx? Then again I’m always disappointed in the absence of gender swapped versions of characters.
 
That said, the episode only aired… Today? Yesterday? I forget which.

His smaller size and more streamlined snout and antlers make him look much less ungainly and disproportionate than Thorax, and his color palette meshes much better, with the purple of his wings and eyes popping without clashing against his teal shell and the dark orange being a complementary highlight.
 
Someone really brushed up their design theory to make a “royal changedling” that wasn’t a gross eyesore, too bad we can’t send that lesson back in time to last season’s art crew’s drawing floor.

While somewhat keeping the original Thorax design, the Pharynx Version seems so much more visually pleasing to me.
