Well, if the joke is sarcasm-related, it still makes little sense seeing as I don’t think any viewers disliked the librarian.
 
Maybe a more appropriate response might have been, “That was really helpful. Thanks!”

The joke is she’s a useless librarian who’s no help at all and so confused she doesn’t even know her own name or where she works. A normal reaction might be frustration or pity, but Pinkie takes it as a positive.
 
It’s like a gag at a car dealership where the salesman shows an obvious beat-up car and the comic relief customer sincerely says to their straight man friend that it looks like a real winner.

I like her for real.
