“Ack, my eyes!”
What’s the best answer for how to deal with an annoying dragon now you’ve got something that renders you immune to dragonsneeze? Weaponizing the plant, naturally! Stick it in a few 40mm-sized balls with some self-contained propellant charges, get an airlift from a friend, and start getting to work giving Garble a severe allergic reaction.
Don’t worry, Spike’s got diplomatic immunity, not like they’re gonna start a war over a localized use of a biological agent. That and Garble was asking for it.
As goofy as the concept is, there’s a kind of genius contrast to be had here. Dragons are raised to rely on brute strength and sheer tenacity in what we’ve seen of them, while ponies tend to focus more upon creativity to overcome their obstacles. Makes sense to think that a dragon raised by ponies would use ingenuity to overcome a scaly red monster six times his height.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to leave a one-word comment about something that could’ve been expressed with a single click! You obviously really do care about this image that much to do that, and should be happy to hear that thinks to your interest, I’ll be beginning work on a sequel involving Garble borderline comatose after getting repeatedly assaulted by ever-increasing dragonsneeze bombs.
Clearly you do like the concept so much as to voice your displeasure about it!
