God, Rarity’s so hot…
@SeraphimDawn
What kind of comment is that? Are you saying we shouldn’t bother with safety measures because we’ll be healed later? That’s like if I were in a car crash and was hospitalized, and once I was out I called for safer vehicles, and the car manufacturers were like “Well you’re okay now so who cares?”.
You still without a finger?
When I was 14 I had an open cage fan next to my TV. One day it started to topple and I rushed to stop it from falling when I caught my fingers in it. My hand was a bloody mess and my ring finger was broken. It’s not an “obsession with safety”, it’s common sense.
With gimmicky gadgetry.
I wish we had those kind of fans again. The ones I’m looking on Amazon right now are all the cheap plastic ones with the tight plastic grill.
I still have a metal bladed National brand fan from the 1970s
That one moves more air on speed ONE than any of my modern table fans on THREE.
The one sitting on my dresser doesnt even have a cage. Mainly because its from the late 1890’s early 1900. Still use it.
It’s mostly the cheap ones I think that make the most noise. They aren’t as aerodynamic and tested because it can make a lot of air turbulence. I wish we still had the big open cages like the old ones there. The cheap plastic one next to me is so tight, you can barely put a pencil in it.
Pretty good fan compared to most you see in stores today.
Sure fans today spin faster. But they are LOUD and because of consumers’ ever growing obsession with “safety” those cages are made more cluttered. Not a of air passes through modern fans.
Thats an earlier version of that fan. There was a later version with a bigger chrome medallion in the center. I have that fan in green, brown, and blue.
Thanks!

This world has magic, which means that certain areas aren’t going to be as advanced as others since they can simply use spells or other such magics to do the job. So it makes sens that the technology level is kinda skewed.
And yet they’re still using olde timey projectors, cameras and are using chariots.
In one episode they had heavy construction vehicles, implying automotive combustion based technology comparable to modern day Earth.
God damnit, I told myself I wouldn’t be one of those adults who overanalyzes children’s cartoons…
