Outside Boris’ Mountainside Cabin, at 87 Uskorporsy Lane, Uskorposy District, Velkepanovia Province, southern Kingdom of Ruritania.
As much as I would like to see the trove of Emperor Laudarius with my own eyes to confirm its exaggerated myths, there are many out there who also search it for their own means. For instance, next to me, the mercenaries of the organization “Treasury of the Ages”, were discussing their plans to break through the rumored traps that defended the tomb from invaders throughout history.
They, and their rivals, believe that the tomb contains all sorts of elusive prizes: lost technology, mythical creatures and peoples, portals to other worlds, elixirs, and perhaps the secret of immortality, to name a few. I better get myself ready and leave for the tomb before they will notice and interrogate me, as they did to many other prior lone travellers.
I also hope that my colleagues from my agency will be there to assist me and fend off any enemies who would break into the tomb, in case if they start getting its powers as villains do in the many science fiction and fantasy films that I enjoyed as a teenager.

P. S. I hope my daughter Sunny Flare reads this: it will be an entertaining bedtime story for her and her friends back home.
