if you want to get really fucking complicated then i will tell ye that magic has 2 parts, the mechanics and the effect, the gem finding uses elemental magic to find them in the earth then illusion to highlight the walls and make them see though…and a magic spell can be 3 parts of a pure tree for each part so over 6 parts to count…i should write a book..or an rpg game…

Skyrim actually has the schools set up wrong.
 
Invisibility is actually changing the path of some light, which is actually physically affecting the world (what I’d call serverside), so it should be Alteration instead of illusion.

however, if it made the gems physically be seen by some magic glow then it would count as elemental because you are changing the gems physically and not simply looking tho walls.

64, because it lets you see tho rocks and causes things you can not see be seen, that counts as revealing which is part of illusions, the illusion tree is hiding and revealing something and making it look like something else when its not.

all magic is put into trees, arcane magic is broken down into quite a few trees and sub trees, the normal telekinesis is pure arcane for instance, finding gems is illusion magic.

i understand now, celly is not powerful in the arcane, she has light magic, twilight is raw power and luna uses a different form of light, since moonlight is the sun reflected…Cad uses light love and Chrys uses dark love, somba is dark arcane…
