I used to be in favor of Sparity but as soon as the ‘‘Equestria girls movie’’ came out and you saw Spike as a dog, I suddenly didn’t find it to have, the same appeal as before. Though, such trivial of information is not enough to put me off a ship.  
But the way, the show decided to handle their interaction/relationship in further seasons, as the series progressed, really kinda nailed it in the coffin for me. Now its just, ’‘ah, well I saw the potential in the beginning but not anymore’’ kinda thing.
 
So I’m really looking forward to what this movie has to offer in the Capperity lane.”
