Ah, yes, what civilized discourse about the finer points she makes! /sarcasm
YES.
Yes, I detected that. Especially Ebert’s (bless his soul, I’m not even an English speaker and yet loved his work) critic, whose style is pure unfiltered bleach and vitriol.

I think MLP will fare well as an average animation flick. I guess this is more than many, many fans of the show’s periphery demographic expected.
BTW, I decided to tag the other movies, too. Just an idea. If you disagree, just take ’em out.
It’s almost amusing to go in and actually read them. The positive reviews may not be stellar, but often make good points and have some good criticisms, and ultimately are at least a little won over by the movie’s “charm”. The negative reviews often are spewing crap for the sake of spewing crap, movie be damned if it has any redeeming qualities.
Right? One of them said none of the songs were memorable. Half of the movie were songs, how do you not remember? Lol
The actual average score out of these critics is 5.4 out of 10. Yeah, it has more positive reviews, but even most of those critics don’t think it’s all that spectacular, so it kind of breaks even.
BTW: Is Blade Runner II THAT good? I don’t usually go to the cinema, but I’m an avid video collector, and I sometimes decide which movies will buy by its theatrical release critics and audience reaction. I expected a turd, but it seems it’s BETTER than BR’82!!!

It means MLP sold the second-highest amount of tickets over the past 24 hours out of all the movies that came out today. Which means it just might take 2nd place at the box office by the end of the weekend, which is the most recent forecast: http://pro.boxoffice.com/weekend-forecast-blade-runner-2049-mountain-us-little-pony-movie/
Considering naysayers hardly even expected it to come out in the top 5 before now, this is comforting.

I agree
Thank goodness for that
Top tickets sold in the last 24 hours on MovieTickets.com.
Percent of ticket sales on the site. So 12.1% of the tickets sold on that site were for MLP, ~39% were for Blade Runner 2049, and so on.
