Not helping is that Twilight, who adores him regardless of reason, only ever seems to redeem/reach out to unicorns… o_o

interstingly i noted that while starswhirl is all about ‘light’, the tree of harmony is not just light. light and darkness, order and chaos, itnertwined.
its why discord can be part of harmony. he is just one aspect of it.
