If they absolutely wanted to reference The Chris,they probably would hve went with his more iconic red and blue polo shirt,not one that you can only know being part of his wardrobe by lurking too much on Stalker Central CWCKi.The closest would be this one https://sonichu.com/cwcki/File:Christshirt12.png and Chris is recorded to have wear it a grand total of one time,hardly his most iconic appearance.Conclusion:it’s an unfortunate coincidence and this background character does nothing else to stand off the crowd

I doubt that. There is no tape on his glasses plus it’s a Unicorn and Unicorns are normally supposed to be the smartest of all the ponies.
