Twilight & Moondancer weren’t evil but they disregarded friendship so they’re also reformed.

IMO Stygian was never reformed as he was never evil to begin with. He was mad and that anger was fueling the power of shadows but everything seems to suggest he never would have gone that far if he knew what it would lead to.

@CnSfan2 The writers might change their minds about Iron Will and those brothers. I theorize that MLP episodes are written based on the opinions of whoever is writing them. Writers vary depending on the episode. Why do you think that M. A. Larson wrote Ponyville Confidential, Slice of Life, Amending Fences, and Fame and Misfortune the way he did? He probably believes of how spoiled the main characters might be, and probably shouldn’t deserve any respect at all, not even from the fans. Why would Josh Haber write episodes like the s7 finale? He probably worships Starlight religiously.

Yup, which is why in his case he didn’t really choose to go evil so much as was desperate enough (due to feeling weak and useless) to make a deal for power with a malevolent force (one assumes he didn’t realize that the shadow power would take control of him), said force being what took him over and drove his evil actions afterword.

Am I the only one that thinks Stygian came off as a big cry baby? He kinda reminds me of Shuyin from FFX2

Starlight Glimmer had the hedgehog dilemma and didn’t want to get hurt again  
Tempest lost something important
