Leaks don’t mean nothing when you do all your pony watching online, like me. Anyhow, looks like we ended up with four bingos this season. See you all next Spring!
characterization wasn’t very strong, and all the furries fucking sucked but the visuals were gorgeous, the animation was smooth as silk, the music was great, the settings were incredible, the humor was decent, and it was an interesting plot.

Point taken, but this is still the same force field that protected the entire Crystal Empire from King Sombra for days on end. If that can’t stand up to whatever Evil Scootaloo was kicking around for more than ten seconds, I have to ask what the hell was in those things and where did it come from?
@Esteban
That still could have turned out okay-ish if the new characters were interesting enough, but most of them just lacked the charm that the shoe generally manages to give to its supporting cast, even those with barely any screen time like Petunia Paleo.

Oh man, tell me about it! I’m especially disappointed at how easily Cadance went down, believe it or not, because at least for Celestia and Luna it’s not really something new. Cadance, on the other hand, had a pretty strong track record for a while, and I gotta wonder what happened to her between the Tatzlwurm fight and now? Is raising Flurry Heart taking a harder toll on her than we’ve been lead to believe?
Well she did jump in front of Celestia and Luna, then she cast a Force Field Spell. She only went down because the Petrification spell Petrified and penetrated the Force Field, She went down fighting.
Cadance did something in the movie, Celestia and Luna were useless and did nothing to get out of the range of the attacker, and stood there having a conversation.
I personally blame the lack of experienced writers like Mike Vogel, basically making a fanfiction with furries rather than universe connected to original MLP lore.
@Wiimeiser
It certainly lacked a lot of the show’s charm, but I wouldn’t say it sucked, per se. It’s about at the level of the first Equestria Girls movie, has enough decent parts that it’s worth seeing once.
Then again, maybe I’m just saying that because I saw it a week after I’d seen “Love Never Dies” onstage (family member gave me a ticket), and after that it’s not hard to look good by comparison.
Either way, I’m hoping it will follow the example of EqG1 by using its unfinished business as the basis for a vastly improved sequel.

Then again, it seems like everypony from the show was at their absolute least capable in this movie, with the possible exception of Spike and Derpy.
Also, I’m pretty sure the only members of the show’s supporting cast who even got to talk are Party Favor and Bulk Biceps, who each got one line.
@Tyrranux
Starlight did a lot less than you claim. Her contribution basically amounts to saving one pony that nopony really liked and a set of plot trinkets they’ve been just fine without since the start of season four. And of course she understands how a pony becomes a world-destroying monster, because she doesn’t suddenly fucking have amnesia; I’m pretty sure that’s not out of bounds.
And even that might be overstating it, since it’s not even her who acted on the idea that Stygian could be saved. Twilight was the one who did that, after literally seeing with her own eyes that Stygian and the Pony of Shadows weren’t entirely one and the same.
And her big contribution in part one? Poor penmanship.(Penmareship?) Yeah, that’s real impressive. Past that, her role in part one was fretting and being ignored.
Dead parents is super confirmed. Movie tie in had me unsure until I realised the EQG movies were being included.
Had Chrysalis shown up it would have been a 6-way bingo.
Great season.
Yeah you might as well mark “Starlight Finale” as well, I mean fucking Christ I was just reading the plot synapses and transcript for that episode and I could just see the Batgod Syndrome oozing off every sentence I read like tree sap.
“A Flurry of Emotions”.

so I think the movie was p. okay

It was pretty bad an uncreative.
I think this reviewer tell us what was really bad with it

Wow, no wonder the movie sucked. It was basically Fallout Equestria with none of the originality…

Trust me, they’re not. Also, if Celestia did get owned, “Princesses get worfed” would have been marked off.

I’m wondering if they’re counting the movie for those two.
Same here.
Don’t have to, the two parter was already leaked online so there’s no surprise or speculation to even look forward to :/
The season finale won’t air until the Saturday after next, so don’t hold your breath.

Nah, it would only be one.

That means if we got a video game reference that would be two more bingo lines. An academy record?
Pretty much. That and it was just “episode 1 and 2 alternate universe version”
Wonder if there will ever be a year with a blackout. >_>
Yeah, because “Triple Threat” was OK at best.
