Yeah I had to watch it twice to get that when Sunburst was talking with Trixie, Maud, and Twilight without Starlight being present.

It kind of was. The moral is that yes, Starburst and Starlight have very little in common now, but as long as they enjoy each other’s company, no reason they can’t still be friends.

I feel this is an episode that should have said yes, sometimes friends grow apart and no longer have those bonds, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing or that good times can’t be had anymore.
