Oh, she probably knew that Celestia was just about done, having counted the number of friendship letters in the pile at a glance and knowing how many she’d sent. She would’ve found it more important to stop Discord if she knew there were only five or six more.
 
Besides, in my head canon, Celestia is the pink toy version, where she says vapid princess things like, “isn’t my hair so pretty?” because of Discord winning and booping her. She wouldn’t have listened anyway.

And sadder still to know Twilight just left him like that when it would’ve taken her ten bloody seconds to let Celestia know she could stop forcing all those scrolls through.

Sadder to see Spike writhing in pain as his intestines burn with the forced evacuation of tens, if not hundreds of letters.

It’s still so sad to see Twilight so grey, after all these years.
