Yeah… saw the new episode “Uncommon Bond” and I have to say… there is going to be a LOT of shipping art between Sunburst and Starlight’s friends (Maud Pie, Trixie, and Twilight).
While I do not particularly ship him with any pony except Starlight, I can see how each of these mares would find the awkward, cute unicorn attractive. Plus his color scheme works with everyone!

Heck, she’d probably seduce Sunburst to spite Starlight XD
He gets along with everyone and can probably be diplomat for any personal friction, and
because statistically, enough mares in that herd are gonna want the Sunny D.
I think this can also sort of be applied to humans.
Too often society overlooks the issues men face and the burdens we carry. Partly due to the overwhelming prevalence of feminism and their skewed narratives in the western world.
It’s hardly my fault that horses are matriarchal creatures.

At that point one wonders why even have Sunburst around. Don’t stallions just act as defence and sperm tanks?
In a horse herd there’s the lead mare, the lead mare’s stallion, and everyone else. Twilight has enough leaderness to compensate for Sunburst many times over.
The question is what mares would actually create a herd around a spaghetti machine like Sunburst.
Sunburst: Oh hush up. Sharing is caring and we can share all of them and have each other.
So how about the reverse of that? Can that ever happen?

that’s just the instinctual romantic units of their species
only to get alicucked like Shining Armor.
