Changelings are fearsome creatures with alien appearances and insectoid traits. They are cursed to suffer from constant emotional hunger that claws at their souls and gives their physical bodies a decayed visage. Despite this, not every changeling is black-hearted. A rare few seek to live quietly among the other races, even making friends, using their natural shape-shifting abilities to blend in. These few are the exception and not the rule, however.
 
A changeling’s glowing eyes and gleaming fangs in a shadowed hall are not a comforting sight.
