This is a set I’ve been tinkering with off and on for quite some time. If I’d started now I would have used fewer assets from various sources and just made more from scratch. Perhaps I will redo it. But for now I may as well try to make some use of it.
Full (huge) asset credit list at source, but a special shoutout to akili-amethyst who quite some time ago gave me permission to use her stained glass.
I guess my mind is just searching for internal fictional logical consistency. (The order of those adjectives is not set in stone.)
Oh, derp! As far as that goes, I was mostly justifying it to myself in terms of the sort of artistic license taken with religious, mythological, or historical figures, since the Princesses are all three. But mostly the stained glass was REALLY pretty and I wanted to use it. sheepish
@Stellarator
I’m referring to the Princess Luna in the window/wall.
@DrCoolcabbage
I was thinking it would be similar to us having an orangutan skeleton on display :)
Probably an ancient species, some ancestor of our beloved talking horses here.
Ah, I see.
Frequently, the items sold there are probably not useful for their original intended purpose; but they’re still interesting.
Because Deseret Industries is a store, it’s not off limits to touch the items they sell there. But, at the same time, since a lot of the items are old, the store also serves as something of a museum in a way.
Glass cases are for wimps and people who display genuine weapons instead of dull replicas with originals in secure storage.
@Background Pony #8DA1
It has quite reasonably been pointed out to me that there ought to be a glass case, but mumble mumble utopian pony society, et cetera. :)
Also, I’m glad someone appreciates the horse skeleton. I figured it was appropriate.
“Deseret Industries”?
And, Scootaloo, if you want to go to a place where you can touch the display items, might I suggest Deseret Industries?
I’m apparently Scootaloo. Museum? Weapons!
