Occupation: Thunderclap is the head of the weather department and leader of the weather team in Neighberry, as well as the head of the volunteer fire department, and a member of the town council.
 
Personality:  
WIP. Authoritative and intimidating, but ultimately kind. He believes in hard work and a strong set of values which all ponies should strive to achieve. He is always looking out for everything and everybody with a watchful eye, and is a no-nonsense leader, but with a softer side too.
 
Best Quality: Generosity. Thunderclap is always willing to lend his services, in any capacity that may entail. This goes from lending his time to 3 important town jobs, to the way he teaches his weather team, to the way he raises his children.  
Worst Quality: Strict. Thunderclap expects a lot from ponies, as much as he gives from himself. He has high expectations which can be difficult for others to meet, but in his mind he is only pushing them to get the best out of them.
 
Likes: Fine art, sitting by the fire, historical trivia, ponies who have gotten a good education  
Dislikes: Bad work ethic, storm debris, being on boats (he gets nauseous)  
Hobbies: Reading biographical books, crossword puzzles, exercising
 
History:  
Thunderclap is originally from Cloudsdale. He grew up there and became part of the weather division, and worked his way up the ranks. Eventually he was promoted to a department head, which involved moving and managing a town’s weather on his own. This town was Neighberry, and so he and his family moved there when his children were still very young. Now he has lived in Neighberry for over a decade, and he is an integral part of the town’s infrastructure.
 
Other:  
Thunderclap has a wife named Honey Bell (owned by Wildfire-Tama), and they have two twin teenagers named Snow Streak and Flash Frost (who were born in a snow storm). He is big and tall with a deep chest and a strong jaw line. He’s pretty bulky for a pegasus, as such he’s not one of the fastest fliers around.  
When Arowana washed up on the shores of Neighberry in a giant storm, Thunderclap was the authority that handled what to do with her. he has taken up the charge of caring for her and has given her a place to stay in his family’s home.
