I wanted to practice drawing pegasus wings.

That was my first idea but then I remembered that in the comics, Soarin’ said to Dash that that unlike her, he was not naturally a good flyer and had to work very hard to become a wonderbolt, so I decided to give him wings that are not very good for ordinary flight.
