Description

Celebrated artist Mary Jane Begin introduces fans to a brand-new land in the world of MY LITTLE PONY the underwater city of Aquastria, ruled by KING LEO. When TWILIGHT SPARKLE receives an invitation to visit the underwater world, she invites all her pony friends and SPIKE to travel with her. Together, they learn of the long-held rivalry between the seaponies and the mermares, and must navigate the oceanic world, confront danger, make new friends, and race to the finish in this adventure that takes place in a shimmering new MY LITTLEPONY world that has never been seen before!

Is this book set during the third season and before the season 3 finale despite this book released two months after season 3 have ended because Twilight is still a unicorn and Celestia’s pupil/student?

Agreed. This fandom is bursting at the seams with talented artists who could do far better than this. The cover art on this book implies some sort of Lisa Frank nightmare.

Yeah, I noticed the fins. Also, they seem to be wearing pearl necklaces of some kind? Guess that’s for breathing/talking underwater.

Thread Starter - The evil council continuation

I would have like the sea pony to be looking more like land ponies, like in g1, rather than realistic sea-horse. But as some say, it is just a cover, that not represent their style inside.  
I’m not the kind of guy that would go buy a pony related book on store so I look forward for at least one scan of what they look like inside.
