My Little Pony: The Movie is an upcoming 2023 Canadian–American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy film. based on the 2010 relaunch of the My Little Pony toy line by Hasbro. Directed and written by Friendship Is Magic veterans Jayson Thiessen and Meghan McCarthy, respectively, the film stars the new voices of Abigail Howard, Elizabeth Banks, Alison Brie, Wanda Sykes, Katy Perry, Angelina Jolie, and Ryan Reynolds and guest voices Greg Cipes, Shakira, Chantal Strand and Will Ferrell.
 
The film is produced by DreamWorks Animation, Hasbro Studios and DHX Media, and is scheduled to be released theatrically on June 21, 2023 in the United States by Universal Pictures.  
Synopsis
 
In the town of Ponyville, the “Mane 6” – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity – find the Elements of Harmony gems. A red-skinned, bull-like centaur, Tirek have a plan to destroy Equestria. Will the mane 6 save Equestria?

My Little Pony: The Movie (2023 Film) received generally positive reviews, Rotten Tomatoes has the score of 100%. On MetaCritic, it has the score of 100 of 100, based on 44 critics, indicating “generally favorable reviews”. On CinemaScope, audiences gave the film a “A__” on an A__ to F scale. This movie also has a 100% rating on Metacritic. The film was won a Best Animated Feature during the Annie Awards of 2024. It also received a rating of 10/10 on IMDB, and a 5/5 on Common Sense Media.
