It be good if Twylight fought a lost sibling of Celeztia and Luna. The Mane 6 scolds him/her for murdering the sibling to which he/she says ‘Wrong………..I was their sibling’, and replies to Twylight’s denials and accusings of lying to ‘You deceive yourself, but deep inside you know it’s the truth’. And Celeztia confesses it be so.

It be grand if Tempest try to help Anakin free from Darth Vader as Twylight help her.

But Twilight doesn’t have a long lost sister. Speaking of which, in early drafts of the film, Tempest was originally gonna be a long lost sibling of Celestia and Luna because he was originally gonna be a stallion named Cosmos. Man. I can’t believe that early draft have some similarities to the Lion Kong because Cosmos is like Scar, Celestia and Luna is like Mufasa, and Twilight is like Simba.

Tempest Shadow in MLP has been similar to Darth Vader in Star Wars. Both start out as nicer beings with former names (Fizzlebop Berrytwist, Anakin Skywalker) before they are driven mad with power, wind up with disfigured features, hold a strong grudge against the heroes (Twilight Sparkle, Luke Skywalker), with whom they would have a mysterious relationship, and ultimately dispatch their electricity powered, tyrannical masters (Storm King, Emperor).

Can’t argue here. Tempy is pretty much Darth Vader of MLP The Movie. And Storm King shares a trait or two with Palpatine.

Guess the author must’ve watched the Original Trilogy before writing :P

If you read the prequel book “The stormy road to Canterlot”, the analogies between the Darth Vader-Palpatine relantionship and Tempest with The Stomr King are more evident than in the movie.

The Movie is like if Darth Vader was instead working for President Skroob from Spaceballs.

Similar, but unlike vader, she doesn’t die.

Guess this means the Kylo Ren character would be someone || who would keep Tempest’s Skull in their private chambers ||.

I felt like the Storm King had never quite made up his mind whether he wanted to be Emperor Palpatine or the genie from Aladdin. It made for a pretty strange movie…

I do half expect to hear the Imperial March when Tempest comes on screen…or at least Kylo Ren’s leitmotif.
