I fail to see how my comment encourages socialism.
I don’t think it’s such a big deal for magic to either directly or indirectly allow mares to impregnate other mares. Certainly no Deus Ex Machina.
Even in the real world, scientists aren’t far from creating artifical sperm from bone marrow.
