To be fair, I think a lot of them have. Twilight took an anvil and then a piano to the head, in succession. A normal pony wouldn’t walk away from something like that.

Spike should totally be a tank, the dude shakes off hits that would probably kill a normal pony and can grind his claws until they’re glowing hot without even feeling it.

Here’s how I can see some of the characters playing:
 
Chrysalis might play a bit like Sombra, but instead of hacking an enemy she takes their form for a brief period and can sneak behind enemy lines this way.
 
Discord would be much like Junkrat, of course.
 
Fluttershy on defense because I can see her gameplay revolving around setting up her animal friends to guard points, kind of like Torb’s turrets. Imagine trying to capture a point and seeing a bear rush at you out of nowhere!
 
Trixie would be able to place several different glyph traps on the ground.
 
AJ might play a bit like Roadhogg with her lasso and can eat apples to restore her health.
 
DJ would would be an obvious fill-in for Lucio.
 
Zecora’s gameplay would revolve around her potions, her main being an explosive one. She’d also have a poison joke potion to disrupt enemies and a healing potion for her allies.
