Flash took a deep breath as he walked down the dirt street, happy to be visiting Ponyville again. Not that he minded living in the Crystal Empire, in fact it truly was an honor and a pleasure to serve the-long lost kingdom. But every now and then, he enjoyed taking a break from Prince Armor’s rough training schedule. And if he happened to catch a glimpse of his former crush… well, all the better. As if thinking about her had its own magic, there she was, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Years of military training had him moving to the side before he even thought about it. He dipped into a simple bow as she passed. Flash had had a crush on the newest princess for a long time, but had never had the courage to tell her how he felt. For one thing he was never sure how she would react, sure there had been some sparks and the cutest blush ever when they’d bumped into one another at the crystal empire, but there had never been anything more to it than that. Also, Flash was reeeeeealy not sure how Prince Armor would take it. All of Equestria knew him as Pleasant Prince Shining Armor, a generally nice guy who loved his family. His troops knew him as the hellish General Armor, a guy who would give you 100 laps around all of Equestria for even suggesting that his daughter might get a boyfriend someday. So, after a long talk with his commanding officer over drinks one day, Flash came to the realization that not only was his crush not going to happen, but he actually didn’t mind if it didn’t. It was one of those things that was fun to think about, but you’d never do in a million years. As he lifted his head and walked off, he couldn’t help looking back with a wry smile. As he turned back, he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and whipped his head back around. “Who is she!?” he wondered, as he stared at the armor-clad, magenta mare walking beside the Princess. His heart began to pound as he took in her muscled shoulders, his hooves began to sweat as he noticed her beautiful red mane, and his mouth went dry at the way she held herself, a true soldier loyal to her Princess. Flash stared as they turned a corner and vanished from sight, and he was finally able to take a dry swallow. “Uh oh.” He murmured to himself. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%~ SOME SPOILERS AHEAD Guess what I saw? ~<3 So I really liked the movie, more for world building and the new characters than anything else though. Also I’m kind of in love with Capper. <3<3<3 At first I was worried that all those new characters would make the movie all jumbled, but it worked really well story wise. The only real gripe I have about it is that Twilight was acting waaaaaay out of character. Oh I’m positive that she would act that way if this was the Twilight from season one, but come on! This Twilight would NEVER use her friends as a distraction like that. I mean really. huff Anyway, I really ended up liking Commander Tempest a lot more than I thought I would. And the more I thought about her the more I liked her, aaaaand then this happened. I couldn’t help it. ^^ I kinda fell off of the Flashlight bandwagon around Legend of Everfree. Don’t know why, it just doesn’t appeal to me any more. But then this glorious mare came along and oh baby! Also I am now sketching on proper paper. No more lined stuff for me.
