Yes, but stating that music is outdated is an objective claim.
A person’s does, though, was my point.
You can hear a song or genre enough that you can get sick of something you initially liked, or come around to pieces you dismissed at first.
There’s no music with an unflinching objective quality.
Taste varies from person to person, but the quality of a piece of music doesn’t magically change over time.
I think you’ll find musical tastes aren’t quite so rigid.
Music can never become outdated. If it was good then, it will be good now. If it sucks now, it sucked then.
What do you want them to use instead? ‘Despacito’?
