This MLP OC is Gerbera the Hippogriff (pay no attention to the name Gazania up there, that name has since been scrapped). Her mother is a moth-like Flutter Pony doctor named Poppyseed and her father is a Griffon named Gilroy. Considering Flutter Ponies tend to have flower-based names and Griffons tend to have names that start with G, why not do both with her?
 
Gerbera has a thing for cooking and baking and owns a restaurant along with her cousin, a Griffon named Gavina. She is friends with another Hippogriff named Quillpeck Skydancer. Likewise, she has a Peryton boyfriend named Mallorn. The two of them also work at the restaurant with the two cousins. Skydancer does singing and dancing there on stage, Mallorn does delivery, and Gavina is in charge of maintenance and security.
 
I based her design off of her namesake (for the color scheme), an Old Dutch Capuchine Pigeon, and a few fanart of other MLP styled Hippogriffs (namely Silver Quill and Enalon’s Stargazor).
