It wasn’t long after Cream had walked into the kitchen, following the festive scents of holiday baking, when she heard a crash in the other room, followed by a terrifying scream. “CREAMSICLE ANNE JADE!”
”Y-yes, Aunt Limestone?” Cream timidly walked into the room. Fairy Floss leaped into her arms, almost in a frightened manner. Before them was a scene of shattered ceramic and Limestone Pie, boiling over with rage.
”THOSE WERE YOUR GRANDMARE’S PLATES! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE?” Limestone shouted angrily. “GET THAT ANIMAL OUT OF MY HOUSE!”
Cream whimpered and averted her gaze, cowering on the ground while holding her pet tightly. Tears began to well up in her eyes as a familiar pink figure stood over her. “Limestone! That’s no way to treat your niece!”
”Ma loves those plates! They’re family heirlooms! She should know better!” Limestone pointed an accusing hoof at the filly.
“We broke stuff all the time when we were fillies and mom and dad didn’t get as mad as you’re getting!” Pinkie exclaimed.
“Ma got the plates as a wedding gift from Granny Pie when she married Pa! I don’t want that vermin in this house again!” Limestone snarled.
“Limestone, please! She’s just a filly! It was an accident!” Pinkie pleaded.
“But she has to learn that MY house, my rules!” Limestone growled. She cringed as a migraine overtook her, and began to storm off. “If you can’t accept that, LEAVE.”
Pinkie shot a sharp glare of disapproval at her sister as she stomped away. Her little filly looked up at her, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Creamy…I think we should go…”
