Imagine a game is coming out and it’s a title in a favored franchise that you love or has been on hiatus for a while.
 
You watch the trailer, get hyped, an slap a preorder down. Heck, you’re so hyped, you buy the super ultra spanky triple original price version game before it’s even out. You see a negative statement or two, but you ignore them as trolls; you won’t let anyone downtalk your beloved franchise!
 
Time passes and the game finally comes out. You take it home and… the gameplay stinks. Oh, wait, maybe I’m just not used to it. Nah, the gameplay is trash. The story doesn’t make any sense. Maybe you just need to get farther in the story. No, the story was written by a talentless hack who has no idea what the rest of the series is about and had no idea what they were doing. Maybe the visuals are nice. If things weren’t glitching all over the place like a DBZ fight.
 
Back in the back of your head, you know you blew your dosh on a terrible product, but you’re too far into denial to admit it, especially when they said “you’ll only need to play it for less than an hour to see how fully trash it is.”
 
So you play it for 6 hours! That’ll show them!

Sadly, that’s the truth of most AAA games nowadays; total trash with no redeeming factors to it and deluded people who try in vain to justify their $60+ purchase.
