G5 AJ dont make G4 AJ go away.And i disagree with that other comments.For example,G3 Rainbow Dash RAINBOW DARLING MOTHERFG RAINBOW is a largely different creature than G4 Rainbow Dash AW YEAH WE MAKING SONIC RAINBOOM BICHES both in appearances (look at those manes) and personality

Because, guess what, AJ wasn’t magically invented for G4. She is MLP character dating all the way back to G1 in 80s. Where the “change” whiners were when faust rewrote all past instances of AJ into what she is now? If G1 AJ can be deleted, so can G4, and frankly, with the current incarnation of the character, it wouldn’t be hard to improve on her.

Guess Westerns really are dead. That would explain why Hollywood rarely makes Cowboy movies, these days.

As someone who has looked at 4chan, all I can say is that they are a bunch of complainers (and they swear too much, too).

The majority of the fandom does not, in fact, hate Starlight. Just like the majority of the fandom doesn’t hate Equestria Girls.
 
In both cases it’s a VERY VOCAL minority that are haters. They think they’re in the majority because they shout down everyone who disagrees with them. I’ve spoken to many, many people who are fans of both Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer. People afraid to admit it because haters get so angry.
 
If Starlight and EG weren’t popular, the related toys wouldn’t be selling. APPLEJACK has fewer fans than Starlight does, why do you think they want to change her? Starlight Glimmer outsells Applejack.
